On Tuesday 10th September 2024, the Blue Sky team took a refreshing break from our usual office environment and headed to the beautiful Upton Country Park for our Vision Day.
We do this every year with all our important stakeholders to delve deep into discussions about business development and our future growth strategies. We had a mixture of indoor business-focused sessions and outdoor activities to stimulate creative thinking.
Surrounded by nature, we brainstormed innovative ideas, set ambitious goals, had a few guest speakers and certainly strengthened our scavenger hunt skills! Everyone loved the scavenger hunt, it was a great team-building task and helped us all learn more about each other and how we think/work under pressure. The stunning setting provided the perfect backdrop for creative thinking and collaboration from all the team.
One member of the team said: “The day was packed with plenty of interesting information. I personally found the AI information session particularly engaging, AI is such a fascinating and rapidly evolving area.”
Overall, it was an incredibly useful day that provided us with valuable insights and actionable plans to drive Blue Sky forward into 2025 and beyond.
Dream Day
Due to achieving our best month ever in April 2024, we recently had a significant day to celebrate our efforts – we called this our “Dream Day”. We took the team for a boat trip around Poole Harbour and dinner at Hotel Du Vin in Poole. This was a big team celebration, a chance to let our hair down and an opportunity to celebrate all our achievements and our growth since becoming an EOT in December 2022.
